Email Belva Green (512) 338-9222 ext. 1400Belva joined DT Land Group, Inc. in June 1994 at its formation and, as of January 1, 2019, Belva is now the owner of DT Land Group. She serves as Owner, Senior Property Manager, and Real Estate Broker, taking care of the day to day operations of the company including oversight of all property management, accounting, and leasing activities. Belva secured her Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management during her tenure at DT Land Group, Inc.
Prior to joining Diane Land at DT Land Group, Inc. Belva was the Senior Property Manager in the retail division at Trammell Crow Company in Austin, Texas.
Belva was responsible for the property management oversight of 21 shopping centers throughout Austin, Texas. She was directly responsible for the supervision of six employees including two assistant property managers, two accountants, one maintenance engineer and one secretary.
Before taking over the Senior Property Manager position within the retail division at Trammell Crow in January 1994, Belva served as property manager working directly under the supervision of Diane Land. She managed 18 shopping centers which totaled over 1MM square feet of real estate. Belva was responsible for collections, reporting, budgeting, coordinating maintenance functions and tenant finish at these 18 centers. Belva also secured her Texas Real Estate license during this period of time.
Belva joined the Trammell Crow Company in February 1986 starting in the property management department of the industrial division. She transferred into the retail division in February 1987 coordinating pay applications and construction draws while assisting Diane Land in collections as Diane took over the property management department in the retail division during a particularly difficult real estate downturn in Central Texas. It was during these difficult years that Belva developed an interest in property management.
Prior to joining Trammell Crow Company Belva learned her real estate accounting skills while working at Metro Group in Austin, Texas for several real estate developers. She set up and maintained books for over 5 real estate entities. Belva was also responsible for the day to day operations relating to accounts payables and receivables.
Belva has served on several boards within IREM’s local chapter, including serving as the Committee Chair for the IREM Forecast Forum in 2011.
