Diane Land, DT Land GroupDiane Land formed DT Land Group, Inc. in June 1994 with a business philosophy of providing superior, specialized management services to a select group of property owners.  Her goal was to find a small nucleus of highly efficient and professional people dedicated to quality service with the customers’ objectives and needs in mind at all times.

Prior to forming DT Land Group, Inc., Diane was Managing Director of Property Management and Chief Operating Officer for Trammell Crow Central Texas, Inc.  Before taking on the above named positions, Diane was the Director of Retail Property and Asset Management for Trammell Crow Company in Austin, Texas.  Her position expanded from strictly overseeing the property management of the assets located in Austin, Texas to performing asset management duties for not only Austin, but the San Antonio and Dallas retail portfolio totaling 9.4 MM square feet.  During her tenure as Managing Director of Property Management, Diane received her Texas Real Estate license as well as a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Diane joined the Trammell Crow Austin office as the Financial Manager in October 1984, where her duties included negotiating real estate joint ventures, construction loans and permanent loans for Austin real estate projects.  The real estate projects included office, retail and industrial buildings.  Diane transferred into the Retail Leasing division where she negotiated approximately 30 shopping center leases and 10 pad sales and/or ground leases.

Diane originally went to work for Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas as a Tax Manager in December 1980 and became the Director of the Tax Department in December 1982 before transferring to the Austin office of Trammell Crow Company.

Diane began her career after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with her BBA in accounting.  She received her Certified Public Accountant designation in 1978 while working for Coopers and Lybrand in Dallas in their tax department.  She became the Tax Department Supervisor in December 1977.   While at Coopers and Lybrand, she specialized in real estate and oil and gas partnerships, joint ventures, undivided interests, private placement prospectuses and S-corporations.
